When magical fairy Fiorella delivers a book to K3, the girls see a prince cursed by the cat-queen. If the prince is not kissed by his true love by midnight, he will change into a cat.

The real Moreno isn't far away, though, and he first deprives the prince of his train ticket and then also takes on his identity in order to steal a pearl necklace from Eveline.
