Avinash and Abha’s idyllic life turns upside-down when their 6-year-old daughter Siya is kidnapped. Several months pass, with all hope coming to an end, when the kidnapper contacts them with an unusual ransom demand. The ransom is not money but an instruction to kill someone in exchange of Siya’s life! Will Avinash take a stranger’s life to save the one he loves?
With time running out, Avinash and Abha deal with the devious path they have started on. Avinash overcomes his turmoil and decides to kill the target using his abilities as a psychiatric. Kabir attempts to atone his past and initiates his transfer from Mumbai to the Delhi Crime Branch but fate has other plans for him as he crashes into the investigation of the murder committed by Avinash.
With blood on Avinash and Abha’s hands and patience wearing off, they cannot wait to reunite with Siya. Kabir stumbles upon a vital clue in the investigation and Avinash can feel the noose tightening. A rude surprise is in store when the kidnapper makes a fresh demand – another killing hit is given for another unlikely target! Avinash must continue his killing spree if he wants his daughter back.
The ghosts of Kabir’s last case haunt him as he settles in Delhi in his new case. The kidnapper plays mind games and this time, Avinash faces an impossible situation till Abha makes an audacious move. Avinash begins to believe that there is some connection between him and the victims. Will Avinash’s efforts payoff as he tries to unravel the thread that connects the kidnapper’s targets?
Kabir gets deeper in the case with a vital clue coming from an unexpected source. Siya and Gayatri have a close call and barely escape the kidnapper’s wrath. Abha plays a dangerous game with the next victim, but a botched attempt to kill, leads to disastrous consequences. A major revelation comes forth that raises more questions than answers and threatens to change the very soul of the case.
The deep seeded psyche that drives the crazed kidnapper finally comes to the fore. Secrets that lay embedded in the kidnapper’s mind are recounted and demand that more blood be spilled. Meanwhile Kabir’s aggression gets the better of him and his own department turns against him. Abha and Avinash soldier on and claim their next kill, not realizing that they have unknowingly opened a can of worms!
The media frenzy around the killings push Kabir and team to the brink. Through this, Kabir painstakingly connects the dots and lands a vital lead that threatens Avinash’s mission to save his daughter. Meanwhile, an enigmatic woman enters the kidnapper’s life and offers a unique insight into the dangerous being. The next target is shared and turns out to be the most difficult kill yet for Avinash.
Avinash comes face to face with the latest target and has to steelen his heart to execute this kill. Kabir feels closer to the truth as patterns begin to emerge. Meanwhile, Siya and Gayatri are driven to desperation and make another bold escape plan from their captivity. But will the masked menace let them be?
The kidnapper lives on the edge as he escapes a dangerous situation with the help of Shirley, the mysterious stranger in his life. Avinash has an accidental run-in with Kabir and it threatens to blow Avinash’s cover as he zeroes in on the target’s weak spot. Internal politics at the Crime Branch prevent Kabir from catching the kidnapper. Its all touch-and-go from here on.
Kabir explores multiple angles as he pokes holes in Avinash’s alibi and corners him. Zeba at the Crime Branch targets her ire at Kabir, by instigating the media. The origins of the kidnapper’s warped psyche lay bare and the reason for the killing spree is revealed. All this as Siya and Gayatri fight against the masked kidnapper.
As the saga speeds towards a conclusion, the kidnapper’s meticulous masterplan gives an insight into his fascinating inner journey. The spark lit by Zeba turns into a firestorm and Kabir faces suspension from the Crime Branch. Kabir confronts Abha as doubts loom large. Kabir’s prison wound takes a toll on him, with him going off the case. Avinash fights on as he enters the last lap of the mission.
Abha’s world comes crashing down when she suspects Avinash of cheating on her. Kabir retraces the kidnapper’s troubled past and ultimately cracks the case but is it a little too late? Abha tails the kidnapper to his lair and has a spine-chilling rendezvous with him. Kabir reaches in time but can he save the day? And can Avinash and Abha save Siya?
