HAN lives with her father TAK after her parents’ divorce. She has been in love with an undergraduate LOK for a long long time but doesn’t dare to tell him. This is why her friend FUNG likes to make fun of her. TAK used to be a fast swimmer but the break-up of his marriage has damaged his confidence. His swimming team faces a lot of problems due to his poor management. They are not even allowed to use the swimming pool during peak hours. LOK’s friend LUI has met TAK’s younger daughter WING on the Internet. They have become cyber-couples and been engaged on the net. WING comes to Hong Kong for a special training program, and would like to take this opportunity to visit her father and elder sister. WING finds that her internet-husband is a person who judges others by external appearance. She disapproves of it and decides to play a trick on him. HAN tries her best to persuade TAK’s students to stay……

HAN has discovered that WING is her younger sister who has been separated from the family for many years. She wonders if she should let TAK know about the truth. WING stays in Hong Kong and challenges CRYSTAL, the best swimmer from the Sky Swimming Club, into a contest. WING falls into CRYSTAL’s trap and doesn’t perform as well as usual. She is later punished by the coach for it. TAK is shocked to discover that WING is his daughter. WING mistakes LOK for her cyber-fiance. When she finds that LOK is going on a blind date, she gets a little jealous and tries to stop him. LOK explains to her that this is just a misunderstanding. He then brings her to LUI asking for clarification. WING is so angry that she pushes LUI into the sea. LOK helps HAN to fix a damaged floppy disk and happens to come across the annual accounts of TAK’s swimming team. Noticing how WING addresses LOK, TAK guesses the pair may have been married……

Coach of the Sky Swimming Club WAI has designed a special training program for WING, which makes CRYSTAL very jealous. WAI asks WING to throw a stone and see how it goes. He is actually trying to get her to learn how to tumble turn. It is rumored that the Angels’ Swimming Team is splitting up. HAN suspects LOK of spreading the rumor. To rescue the Angels from financial crisis, HAN makes a great effort to recruit students, and LOK offers to help her out. LOK suggests to WING that she should adjust the speed and angle of rotation so as to get a much faster turn. WING keeps practicing but still does not perform as well as CRYSTAL. She also does a lot of exercise trying to build up her muscles. TAK points out that the tumble turn designed by WAI is not suitable for WING. He tries to get WING to learn a tumble turn that he has invented – the ‘Ice-breaker Tumble Turn’, but in vain……

HAN persuades WING to join TAK’s swimming team but WING turns her down. YAN’s housekeeper SA encourages YAN to woo YEE, as she knows that he is still in love with YEE. YAN offers to sponsor the Sky Swimming Club on behalf of his company. He is not happy with CRYSTAL’s attitude and decides to dismiss her. YU, the girl whom LOK met on a blind date, falls in love with LOK and keeps following him around. HAN recognizes YU as her former schoolmate. She persuades YU to join TAK’s swimming team, but doesn’t succeed. HAN goes to the police station to provide information about the robbery that took place some time ago. HAN recognizes YAU as one of the robbers. She invites YAU to join the Angels’ Swimming Team but is mercilessly teased by YAU. HAN happens to discover that YAU is forced by her parents to study abroad. She explains to YAU that joining the Angels is the perfect excuse for her to stay in Hong Kong……

YEE and WING plan to move into TAK’s house so that YEE can look after HAN in a better way. YEE claims that she will bring HAN back to the States. TAK strongly objects to this but cannot change her mind. YEE asks to have a look at HAN’s pictures and HAN doesn’t know what to do. Luckily TAK comes along and stops her in time. TAK tries to have a talk with WING, in the hope of patching up their relationship. WING, however, talks down to him and says that she no longer needs him. He is therefore very disappointed. TAK needs WING and her teammates to start with the basic training before they get any further. WING disagrees with him, thinking that this way of training is already out of time. LOK introduces HAN to a prominent orthopedic surgeon. YEE is so concerned about HAN’s progress and HAN is worried that her secret will sooner or later be revealed. To play for time, HAN claims she is not willing to have the operation……

WING leaves TAK’s home in a fury. YEE is shocked and sad to discover that HAN was born with a physical disability, and has decided to stay in Hong Kong to look after her. FUNG, YU and YAU are not in the mood for training after WING’s departure, while TAK feels upset too. HAN makes a formal apology to WING, in a vain effort to change her mind. WING is a little envious when she sees LOK and his parents have their dinner at a restaurant. YAN is watching the footage of the training sessions. WING approaches him and shares with him some of her views. YAN agrees with her analysis and thinks highly of her. TAK’s ex-teammate TING thinks that a few extra challenges set by the children may help to keep FUNG and YU invigorated, but he is wrong. LOK’s father CHI-WAI has disappeared suddenly and CHI-WAI’s restaurant is likely to close down. LOK is so distressed about this……

CHI-WAI turns up and apologizes to his staff. In the mean time, a regular customer of CHI-WAI comes along saying he is willing to take over the restaurant. Everybody there is thrilled by this news. LOK, LUI and a friend of theirs called KIT go to work part-time. It is LOK’s first job and he is happy that he is able to earn his own living. LUI orders his nephew CHING to offer LOK a full-time post. CHING turns him down first but changes his mind later on. He is very impressed by LOK’s sincerity and honesty and decides to give the lad a chance. Having been through the traumatic family change, LOK becomes more mature. He forgives HAN for lying to him and asks for HAN’s forgiveness at the same time. LOK and YEE who work for their respective companies are competing for the right to manage a popular sportswear brand. LOK has a phobia about water and refuses to get on the boat……

HAN tries to suppress her love for LOK, only for the sake of WING. WING suggests LOK joins the Angels to get more practice. Taking it as the best way to approach WING, LUI offers to join the team. TAK needs each swimmer to concentrate on one stroke, according to their physical strengths and weaknesses. WING remains steadfast in her belief that American-style training is the most effective. She even offers to be TAK’s assistant coach. LOK’s father has been declared bankrupt and all memberships have been terminated. LOK is not aware of it and thus makes a fool of himself before YAN, YEE and his client CHU. HAN knows that LOK and YEE have been competing for a contract, and she wants to help him out. She has thought of a way to please CHU. She drops a hint to WING so that WING can in turn offer advice to LOK. CHU is satisfied with LOK’s arrangement and very much appreciates his attitude. LOK is overjoyed and very grateful to WING……

LOK is to submit a new proposal to CHU. He has got no clue and thus approaches his friends for advice. WING gives him some suggestions and everybody there agrees with her views. LOK takes WING’s advice and develops a thorough proposal, which is later on adopted by CHU. HAN knows LUI has forced YAU to reveal her secret. She doesn’t want LOK to know the truth and so tries every way to stop LUI. WING shows HAN her new cell phone that is given by LOK, as well as a photo of the two of them. HAN gets a little upset. YAU is very disappointed when she learns from TAK that her friend is just trying to make use of her. TAK gives her a few words of consolation and encouragement. TAK discovers that WING and her teammates have been secretly following the training principles and programs set out by the Devils’ Swimming Team. He is angry and gives the girls a severe telling-off. YAN goes on a business trip to Shanghai with YEE……

TAK gets aware of the contest between the Angels and the Devils, and goes to stop them right away. As he arrives, he finds YAU is seriously hurt. YAU cannot take part in the contest, which means the Angels have to give up. The Devils pour scorn on the Angels and insist that all the team members should receive some punishment. TAK thinks it is unfair and gets into an argument with the Devils. WING thinks it is a waste of time to visit YAU. She would rather spend her time in the swimming pool. CHING is suspected of breaking the terms and conditions and is sued by the client. He blames YEE for betraying him but YEE insists that she is innocent. YEE accepts YAN’s explanation, and claims that the case will be fully investigated by the police. But CHING and the others do not really trust her. LOK wonders if HAN is the one who has saved him. He wants to find out the truth and tries to test her, but in vain……

HAN has finished her part amidst rapturous applause. WING, with her improved tumble turn, has helped her team secure entry to the final. HAN has become the focus of local attention as a legendary swimmer while WING is ignored. WING is unhappy and LOK goes to comfort her. HAN is afraid that LOK will sooner or later find out who has saved him. She is so worried that she decides to confide in FUNG. YAU and YU happen to overhear their conversation. CHING, who is in financial difficulties, dismisses LOK as he has to cut expenditure. HAN tries to console LOK, during which there is a small accident – LOK slips and almost falls into the sea. HAN grabs his hand and drags him back onto the ground. For a split second, his gut feeling tells him that HAN is the one who has brought him back to life……

HAN blames herself for making WING unhappy, which causes WING to leave the Angels. She considers leaving the team but everyone she knows convinces her to stay. YEE goes to discuss with YAN to see whether he can change WING’s mind. YAN, however, resorts to a stratagem to make WING believe that TAK and YEE are trying to put pressure on her to go back. WING has a terrible quarrel with YEE, and blames HAN for making up stories to win sympathy. TAK gives WING a slap and needs her to apologize to HAN. WING refuses and leaves at once. WING takes LOK’s advice and agrees to go home. YEE knows how WING feels and tries to comfort her. WING does not get on well with the existing members of the Devils’ Swimming Team. YEE’s birthday is approaching and WING has been thinking about what to do on her mother’s big day. As inspired by KIT, WING decides to hold a party for YEE in the carnival area……

TAK gives the bracelet to YAU. A fortune-teller predicts that YEE will meet her Prince Charming very soon. Knowing this, TAK seeks every opportunity to show up before YEE, trying to make her believe that he is the one for her. However, he fails. WING gives LOK a ring, and LOK, after a brief hesitation, thanks her with a kiss. YEE gets insanely jealous when she sees YAU wear the bracelet which is supposed to be given to her on her birthday. LOK falls ill. HAN does not only offer to finish the work for LOK, but also prepares plenty of juice for him. WING’s overwhelming love for LOK makes him feel stressed. LOK is so perplexed that he finally goes to confide in LUI. LUI tries to tell WING how LOK feels but WING doesn’t seem to understand what he means. TAK spends a lot of time hanging around with YAU, which drives YEE mad with jealousy. FUNG happens to come across the official team song for the Angels……

HAN tries to phone LOK to tell him about the Internet Conference on Artificial Intelligence. She cannot reach him because he is on the phone talking to WING about stargazing. FUNG goes to the audition but is criticized for her lack of emotion. KIT and LUI make an attempt to stimulate her imagination, but in vain. YAU sees a ball beside the pool. She ignores TING’s warning and brings it back home. A series of strange things then begin to happen. YAU believes there is a ghost around her and is very frightened. She turns to TAK for help and even puts up at his house. LOK is busy doing some research and thus cannot go out with WING. WING has accidentally damaged LOK’s floppy disk, in which some important information is stored. LOK gets very angry with her. HAN tries but fails to recite from memory the data they have gathered. She remembers she has taken some notes which LOK may find useful. YEE is unhappy to see TAK and YAU together……

LOK means to make himself look awful, hoping this would scare WING off. However, he doesn’t succeed. YAN learns from WAI that WING hasn’t made much progress recently. Due to her handicap, HAN cannot perform a fast and effective tumble turn. YAU is very frightened because she thinks that YAM is possessed by a demon. TAK tries to calm her down by giving her a few words of comfort. YEE has seen it all and feels very unhappy. But she is cheered up again when she gets a phone call from YAN. WING notices it and encourages YEE to accept YAN as her lover. The project on how to manufacture swimsuits utilizing Artificial Intelligence-based technologies is progressing well, and LOK is so happy that he cannot wait to tell HAN all about it. LOK has made up his mind to break up with WING. WING is heart-broken and vents her anger on LUI……

HAN is gradually recovering from the disappointment of being rejected and tries to act as if nothing has happened. She even says LOK and WING are a perfect match made in heaven, which upsets LOK very much. YEE is deeply touched by YAN’s sincerity and accepts his proposal of marriage. LOK believes that nothing can stand in the way of true love and immediately goes to ask for HAN’s forgiveness. On his way, he meets WING who tries to stop him from meeting HAN. Since TAK and YEE have not gone through a legal divorce, TAK is strongly opposed to YEE’s marriage to YAN. YEE thinks TAK is absolutely unreasonable. LOK’s mother YIN returns to Hong Kong and is recuperating in a local hospital. LOK takes it as a great opportunity to make it up with HAN, but he fails anyway. HAN meets her childhood friend ON. She takes ON’s advice and decides to give LOK one more chance. HAN tells her friends that she knows how to cope with her parents’ divorce……

All of a sudden, YEE returns home. Everybody is shocked yet glad to see her back but YAN is unhappy, angry and imbued with self-pity. CHU suggests holding a competition between the Devils and the Angels, taking it as a promotional event for his products. WING has taught HAN the skills necessary for the ‘Ice-breaker Tumble Turn’, and TAK knows there must be some strange goings-on between them. WING does not perform as well as expected. To ensure victory, YAN continuously gives WING some capsules with performance-enhancing substances. LOK is upset when he sees HAN and ON together. YAU thinks YAM is possessed by a demon but later on she finds out it is just a misunderstanding. YIN is discharged from hospital. WING accompanies YIN to the hospital for the follow-up appointment, which irks LOK considerably. YAN gets aware that CHING is engaged in a project on the manufacturing of swimsuits with AI technologies……

WING’s hands keep shaking after she has beat HAN in the competition, and immediately YAN tries to conceal WING’s problems. Everybody mistakes LOK as the betrayer, which makes LUI feel so guilty. HAN introduces ON to her friends. Looking at ON in the wheelchair, TAK feels a little uncomfortable and is full of worries. FUNG is sad and angry when she finds that KIT has just been trying to make it up to her. HAN, WING and LOK are caught in a love triangle, and this worries TAK and YEE a great deal. YAN secretly invites CRYSTAL back to the team. WING discovers that CRYSTAL has been practicing hard. There seems to be some goings-on, so WING flies off to ask for explanation right away. YAN has no choice but to make up a story. LUI knows LOK is running out of money. He then calls on all the friends to lend a hand to LOK. WING asks YEE for money so that she may help LOK solve his financial problems……

LUI makes a vain attempt to comfort WING. WING, having taken too many performance-enhancing substances, falls unconscious and is sent to hospital. For this matter, TAK and YEE have a terrible argument with YAN. LUI finally admits that he is the one who has betrayed CHING, which infuriates CHING beyond measure. HAN pays no regard to her health and keeps practicing. To cheer WING up, she runs around looking for WING’s favorite snacks. She is so exhausted that she slumps to the ground in a faint. WING is in a temper and keeps on shouting at YEE and HAN. TAK can no longer put up with WING and tells her off for being so unreasonable. WING comes to realize it is her fault and apologizes to YEE. HAN and WING make a great effort to reconcile TAK with YEE. WING apologizes to LOK, and encourages him to woo HAN. HAN has a date with LOK, but during which she falls unconscious and is later sent to hospital……

YAN claims compensation and it will be too much to afford. YAM suggests buying lottery tickets while LUI tries in vain to steal back the contract from YAN. YAM claims he has won a prize in the lottery. YAU doesn’t believe him and follows him to find out the truth. HAN tells FUNG about KIT’s dream. FUNG decides to start a band with KIT so as to live their dream. LOK is leaving for Italy with his parents. He tries but fails to meet HAN before he goes. Taking ON’s advice, LOK expresses his love for HAN in a phone-in radio program. There is a plane crash and HAN is so worried about LOK’s safety. She hurries to the airport but along the way, she has a car accident and is seriously injured. FUNG is not in the mood for the competition. WING encourages her teammates to try their best so as to fulfill HAN’s dream. During the Super Cup Final, CRYSTAL and WING are neck and neck……
