  • Scrapheap Challenge - Scrap Speed Record (Season 10 - Episode 1)

To get the series off to a smashing start, the first episode challenges the teams to break one of Scrapheap's longest-standing records. Back in series six, The Catalysts set a top speed of 72mph in the Grand Prix Challenge. Now The Rocketeers, a team of pyrotechnicians from Bath, and The Brum Brums, motor mechanics from Birmingham, are challenged to beat that time, in the scrap speed record attempt. Where better to do it than historic Pendine Sands, the spiritual home of British land speed record attempts? The teams are under expert scrutiny as they attempt to race their way into the 'heap record books - this week's judge is two-time land speed record-holder Richard Noble.

Scrapheap Challenge - Scooter Shooters (Season 10 - Episode 2)

This week's mechanical migraine promises to be a Scrapheap classic. The teams must build contraptions to throw a 100-kilogramme scooter as far as they can, without the help of compressed gas or gunpowder. The Balloonatics, a trio of hot air balloonists from Liverpool, take on The Aquarium Crew, a team of aquarium constructors from Dorset.

    Scrapheap Challenge - Superbikes (Season 10 - Episode 3)

The teams build high speed motorbikes capable of racing each other head-to-head around the twisty Scrapheap circuit.

Scrapheap Challenge - Decoration Dash (Season 10 - Episode 4)

It's a decorator's dream as two teams compete to build a mobile painting machine capable of decorating a house from a distance

Scrapheap Challenge - Dune Bashers (Season 10 - Episode 5)

The teams must build super-swift vehicles capable of racing up and over the Scrapheap's very own desert dunes.

    Scrapheap Challenge - Powerboats (Season 10 - Episode 6)

The teams compete to build wave-pounding power boats capable of skimming across the Scrapheap lake. And it's not as easy as it sounds.

Scrapheap Challenge - Rocket Railway (Season 10 - Episode 7)

Inspired by the sleds used to test supersonic planes and spacecraft, the teams are challenged to build a superfast railway... but all usual forms of propulsion are banned.

Scrapheap Challenge - Fire Fighters (Season 10 - Episode 8)

The teams are challenged to build fire engines in just 10 hours. They have to complete a tight course in the fastest possible time, extinguishing two burning mock jet engines.

Scrapheap Challenge - Snow Shifters (Season 10 - Episode 9)

The teams are challenged to build super snow shifting machines as well as having to race up a ten-degree slope in temperatures of minus four degrees.

Scrapheap Challenge - Savvy Salvaging (Season 10 - Episode 10)

This challenge tests the teams' underwater ingenuity as they build a salvage machine from a stockpile of scrap in order to retrieve lost treasure from the bottom of a mini ocean.

Scrapheap Challenge - Final: Land Tugs (Season 10 - Episode 11)

Two teams have reached the final and now they have just ten hours to build a tow tug capable of pulling a 155 ton jumbo jet along.

Scrapheap Challenge - Grand Final: Manphibious Madness (Season 10 - Episode 12)

Scrapheap Challenge - Scrapheap Challenge Roadshow 4: Dragsters (Season 10 - Episode 14)

Sixteen teams of backyard bodgers from around the UK battle it out for the chance to take on the crème de la crème of the engineering world, the Scrapheap Allstars.

Scrapheap Challenge - Scrapheap Challenge Roadshow 5: Ballistas (Season 10 - Episode 15)

Teams from around the country have been challenged to build giant mechanical bows capable of launching four-foot arrows, making for an archery tournament of epic proportions.

Scrapheap Challenge - 10 Years on the Heap (Season 10 - Episode 16)

Robert Llewellyn looks back over the highlights of a decade on the heap with the presenters, experts and contestants who've made the show such a success.

    Cannonball Run 2001

Cannonball Run 2001 was a reality television series broadcast on the USA Network in 2001. It was inspired by the Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash, an outlaw road race of the 1970s which was the source for the famous Cannonball Run movies. The show featured a series of five location-specific challenges along a New York-to-Los Angeles course, as in the original race. Development of the series started without the participation of Brock Yates, organizer of the original Cannonball and holder of the trademark; indeed, the production company paid Yates for the use of the name just before the show debuted. Yates was not pleased with the series, as he felt it was fake and staged. In 2005, Yates teamed up with a Cannonball driver and film producer J Sanchez to produce a more authentic reality series called Cannonball: This Is Reality to run alongside the actual One Lap of America race. The project was shelved in 2006 due to lack of interest from networks.

The series became hugely popular when vampire Barnabas Collins appeared a year into its run. Dark Shadows also featured werewolves, zombies, man-made monsters, witches, warlocks, time travel, and a parallel universe. A small company of actors each played many roles; indeed, as actors came and went, some characters were played by more than one actor. Major writers besides Art Wallace included Malcolm Marmorstein, Sam Hall, Gordon Russell, and Violet Welles.

    Waldgericht - Ein Schwarzwaldkrimi

The spectacular staging of the murder leads Commissioner Maris Bächle and her colleague Konrad Diener to suspect a personal motive. While the black asylum seeker is quickly suspected as a perpetrator, the Freudenstadt inhabitants speculate behind closed doors about the involvement of earth spirits - of course, just for fun. However, when Konrad Diener's introverted 14-year-old son disappears without a trace in the forest during a school trip and reappears completely changed, but refuses to give any information about his whereabouts, Maris remembers how she was found in the forest as an 8-year-old. She had mysteriously survived there. With the help of the city archivist, the two investigators come across an old legend about forest spirits and an old place of execution in the middle of the forest.
