    A beautiful model is being extorted by a sleazy private detective with compromising photos, so she asks Nick to help retrieve them. When the detective turns up dead, the model becomes the key suspect.

    Tara and Howard Fitzgerald want to spend their honeymoon on Key Mariah. But soon Tara has to ask Nick and Sylvie for help because her husband is gone. Then somebody breaks into their apartment. The thieves are searching for an important diskette. It probably contains information about Howard's modern weapon system. They want to carry off the only witness. Nick can prevent it, but he can't prevent Howard's death.

The clue leads them to a psychiatric hospital, where business people are in therapy. Nick and Sylvie decide to join a therapy group for couples. Soon they find Beth's mother who knows too much about the hospital, which uses the therapy in order to find out everything about the people's firms.

    Edward Collingwoog, a governer, has a big chance to win an election. But one day a party girl accuses his son of rape. Collingwoog asks Silvie and Nick to prove that the boy is innocent.

    Tropical Heat - Double Fault (Season 2 - Episode 15)

    Spider and a tourist who go deep sea fishing, find the head of a dead body. It belongs to a fisherman, whose boat is gone. Because the fisherman had a high life insurance, the insurance company wants Nick and Sylvie to find out if his wife Glenda Lee is involved in her husbands death.

    Nick has disappeared. His friends at Key Mariah, especially Spider and Sylvie can't believe he is dead. They think a dealer named Jason Colt is at the bottom of it. Actually Colts men tried to kill Nick but just wounded him. But Nick was lucky. He made it to the house of the attractive but strange actress Rachael. But Nick wasn't so lucky as it seemed. Rachael is a dangerous psychopath who imagines Nick is her old lover. And she doesn't want to let him go...

    Tropical Heat - Tattooed Lady (Season 2 - Episode 17)

    On Key Mariah is a man who drugs, rapes and tattoos the women he dates. Nick is hired to investigate by one of the victims. Nick begins to investigate and visits a man who tattoos. But he can't ask him because he's dead. Nick finds a hint of who might be the next victim. So Nick and Sylvie find the woman. But when the man finally sees he will be caught, he takes the two women as hostages and flees.

    Tropical Heat - Users (Season 2 - Episode 18)

    Melody Booth's lover Garnier is an arms dealer and so their lives are very dangerous. Melody's father wants Nick to look after his daughter. Soon Melody confesses to Nick, that she really works for a South American who fights for liberty and against her "lover". But the two don't know that Garnier already knows this and is just waiting for a opportunity to kill Melody.

    Tropical Heat - Frame Up (Season 2 - Episode 19)

    After a night out with attractive Amanda, Nick falls into a deep sleep. While he is sleeping somebody shoots a drug dealer with Nick's gun. Later Amanda is found dead too. Nick is suspected of killing both. While he is sitting in prison, Sylvie finds out that someone wants revenge on Nick. There is just one chance left for Nick: He has to break out of prison and to investigate the crimes himself.

    Tropical Heat - Going to the Dogs (Season 2 - Episode 20)

    Nick and Sylvie are just sitting in a friend(Rupert)'s club, when someone shoots at Rupert. Fortunately he isn't seriously injured. But that wasn't the first attempt. He has always saved himself. Rupert believes that his competitor Meyer is the culprit. Meyer tries to extort him in order to get Rupert's club. Nick and Sylvie begin to investigate.

    Sylvie is approached by her old friend Cory Ann Crawford who works at a telephone sex line. A colleague of hers was murdered after receiving phone calls from a man calling himself Steven, and now that Steven is calling her, she is afraid for her life. Because he looks "like hell in fishnet stockings", Nick sends Sylvie undercover at the telephone line, while he sets about finding Steven.
