Though officially Jackie works as an archaeologist, in reality he also assists Captain Black, leader of the covert police squad Section 13.

However, sealing Dai Gui is complicated, as Jade used a sleeping potion on Uncle because of his constant complaining.

    Section 13 sends its best Agent, Taggart McStone to stop Dr. Necrosis. Jade stows away and accompanies him on his mission, sending Jackie after them.

    Jackie and Uncle are supposed to explore an underground city the same night as Jade's theatrical debut. Jade's upset that no one will be there to see her perform, and comes up with a solution. An ancient evil is freed from the underground city seeking revenge on the descendants of the one who imprisoned it.

    Jackie discovers a necklace, known as the Eye of Aurora, that allows its user to teleport anywhere by saying "Return to (name of place)". To occupy Jade, he signs her up for Buttercup Scouts. However, an evil treasure hunter arrives looking for the necklace, which Jade has taken on a camping trip to Summit Hill with Jackie.

Meanwhile, Valmont manages to render Shendu out cold and seeks help from the Chans to exorcise him from his body. However as Uncle is preoccupied with finding a spell to stop the flood, so the Chans with Valmont have to face Bai Tza without him.

    Before Bai Tza can use another flood, Uncle uses a gourd from one of the Immortals to seal her away again. Unfortunately, Jade steps too close to the chi spell and is dragged into Bai Sa's portal. Meanwhile, the Demon Sorcerers communicate with and confront Shendu. In order to escape punishment, he promises that all seven of the Demons can use his own Portal – the only one left – to come back to Earth. A race against time ensues as the Chans work from both sides to both recover Jade and close the last portal for good.

    Shendu alters the Book of Ages, and changes history. In a world where demons rule, Jade remembers how things were, and must convince her Uncles to help her set things right.

Realizing what has transpired, Shendu and the other three remaining Demons make a final stand at Australia to prevent history from being corrected.

    Jackie finds a highly valued cat statue. Anyone who is scratched by it is magically transformed. Forced to steal it back for a gangster when Jackie is tossed into a jail cell, Jade is able to retrieve the statue, but gets scratched by it in the process. Uncle had been researching into the Cat’s legend, and says that the cure lies within. Jackie soon has an epiphany, and decides the Cat is too dangerous to be in a museum. So he smashes the statue, thus releasing a purple-colored gas that cures Valmont and Jade. With that, Jackie then realizes that “The antidote lies within” meant that the antidote was inside the statue itself (and not within a person, despite what he thought at first).

    Jackie provides security for a valuable Chinese artifact. The museum decides to transport the artifact via a cruise ship, and allow Jackie to take his family along. Tohru's mother joins them on the cruise.

    Jackie acquires a cursed emerald, and must find a way to break the curse. Meanwhile, Finn decides to leave the Dark Hand.

    Uncle receives signs from Chi Master Fong, and follows them to the Hidden Valley. They find Daolon Wong as he prepares to unleash the dark chi held in check in a statue. Tohru is struck blind, Jackie is mute and Jade is now deaf, and soon Uncle is captured by his archenemy. The team must learn to use their other senses to free Uncle and defeat Daolon Wong.

    Jackie finds the Bands of Shiva. Hak Foo pursues Jacki back to Uncle's shop to get the bands. Jade casts a spell to make Hak Foo disappear, but inadvertently shrinks Jackie and Hak Foo.

Lux used to be called the strongest Drag-Knight, but now he's known as the "undefeated weakest" Drag-Knight because he will absolutely not attack in battle. After his duel with Lisesharte, Lux ends up attending the female-only academy that trains royals to be Drag-Knights.
