The Red Green Show - Duct tape Virtuoso Deluxe (Specials - Episode 6)

To me, technology is a subversive plot by all the geeks of the world to complicate our lives to the point where we become as useless as they are. Man's basic needs are food, clothing and shelter. Not food, clothing, shelter and a 600MZ CPU with 128 megs of RAM and a 32-gigabyte hard drive. I wish they'd just leave us all alone. If life is too simple for you, get married. Up here at Possum Lodge, we have our own rules about technology: "If you're standing in a puddle, don't touch anything that hums," and "Don't trust anything that has no moving parts. Especially if it's a relative." But I decided to bend our rules a bit when I made this DVD because it gave me a chance to use the Handyman's Secret Weapon -- Duct Tape -- and it gives you a chance to get a new Red Green show you won't be embarrassed to display on your video shelf because the edge is so small, no one will be able to tell what it is! So grab a cold beverage, your DVD remote, and go nuts. I did.

The Red Green Show - Of Cars and Men (Specials - Episode 10)

Most men can't remember where they were when they kissed a girl for the first time, or even what her name was. But ask them what they recall about the first car they drove, and they'll tell you the make, the model year, the engine size, and even the exact punishment they got for driving their friend's dad's car without permission and without a license. That's how men feel about cars. Sure, they're loud, they pollute, they break down as they get older, they cause accidents, but let's face it: They're a lot like us! It's why we feel comfortable around them. That's what this program is all about - men getting close to their cars. Call it a celebration or call it a love story. Whatever you do, make sure you buy lots of copies. There's a new pickup I've had my eye on, and they don't give those things away! Red

The Red Green Show - Red Green's Hindsight is 20-20 (Specials - Episode 11)

RED GREEN made his television debut in 1979 in a two-minute guest appearance on a variety program. That was 11 years before the launch of The Red Green Show. Red's ability to make success out of failure became an inspiration to his fans as well as to future securities executives. Twenty-five years after that first appearance, this PBS special looks back to see how it all went so horribly wrong. Interviews with Red and the gang, photos, and video clips tell Red's regret-filled history. Possom Lodge favorites who reminisce and appear in memorable clips include Harold, Buzz Sherwood, Dougie Franklin, Glen Brackston, Kevin Black, and Bob Stuyvesant.
