Rosjanie przez pewien czas ukrywają się u Blachy w garażu. Którejś nocy wychodzą do dyskoteki i zabijają ochroniarza. Szybki każe im się wynieść z miasta. Policjanci obserwują gangsterów przemycających z Niemiec do Polski papier do produkcji Euro. Śledzą ciężarówkę od przejścia granicznego. Huba dowodzący akcją popełnia błąd i daje się gangsterom wyprowadzić w pole. Generał Potocki jest wściekły. Taki przekręt na międzynarodową skalę, oznacza kompromitację polskiej policji w oczach całej Europy. Każe Sikorze wykorzystać układ z Blachą, żeby odzyskać euro papier. Gangsterzy pomimo braku dowodów zostają zatrzymani na 48 godzin. Blacha informuje grupę o ultimatum policji. Albo oddadzą papier, albo policja nie da im żyć. Sikora i Blacha ustawiają porozumienie między Szybkim i Potockim. Sikorą zaczyna interesować się ABW. Dwaj oficerowie pytają go o jego znajomość z Berią. Proszą, żeby rozejrzał się po mieszkaniu kolegi, bo podejrzewają go o powiązania z mafią. Sikora znajduje w mieszkaniu Berii ukrytą broń i naboje. Cyga poznaje w areszcie piękną panią psycholog Ludmiłę i zakochuje się w niej po uszy. Dziewczyna nie traktuje wyznań Cygi poważnie. Koleżanka ostrzega ją, że u takich mężczyzn miłość od nienawiści dzieli zaledwie mały krok. Uważa, że awanse Cygi mogą być dla niej niebezpieczne. Beria znajduje łuskę po naboju w palenisku kominka. Domyśla się, że Sikora odkrył jego tajemnicę. Sikora przyjeżdża na umówione spotkanie z Blachą. Z ciemności wyłania się jednak nie Blacha, a Beria. Zabójca mierzy do niego z broni. Życie policjantowi ratuje Blacha, który w ostatniej chwili zabija Berię.

Dochodzi do otwartego konfliktu. Kowal i Rysiek stają po jego stronie. Nie chcą wejść w nowy interes Szybkiego- zaproponowany przez Senatora wielomilionowy przekręt z VATem. Blacha prosi Cygę, żeby zaopiekował się Laurą. Wspólnie spędzany czas sprawia, że młody gangster i wdowa po Skalpelu, zaczynają się do siebie zbliżać. Sikora zauważa, że jest śledzony przez ABW. Wie, że agenci kontaktowali się z Marecką i wypytywali o jego kontakty z Berią. Ozga dostaje od Ptaśka zdjęcia Gazdy rozmawiającego z Lewarem. Dziennikarz przekazuje te materiały Sikorze. Policjant zaczyna podejrzewać, że jego przyjaciel sprzedał się Lewarowi. Nie myli się. Lewar od dłuższego czasu płacił Gaździe, w zamian za informacje o działaniach policji. Gazda chce zerwać układ z Lewarem. Gdy wraca ze spotkania z bandytą, na jego samochód najeżdża rozpędzona ciężarówka.
Gazda trafia w krytycznym stanie do szpitala. Sikora czuwa przy przyjacielu. W chwili powrotu świadomości, Gazda wyjawia Sikorze, że dał się kupić Lewarowi. Po tym wyznaniu umiera. Szybki, żeby zdobyć pieniądze na przekręt z VAT’em, kasuje fundusz bezpieczeństwa grupy. Blacha jest w szoku. Wie, że Kowal i Mnich nie darują mu naruszenia rezerwy. Mnich i Ptasiek ustalają plan zabójstwa Szybkiego. Wybierają dzień, gdy szef gangu, będzie w Zakopanem na nartach. Kowal i Rysiek próbują przekonać Cygę, żeby donosił im o wszystkich ruchach Blachy. Cyga stawia się. Sprzeciwiając się, wydaje na siebie wyrok. Na pogrzebie Gazdy, Potocki informuje Sikorę, że lada dzień zacznie się zmasowany atak policji na gang Pruszkowski. Będzie potrzebował silnych dowodów przeciwko gangsterom. W Gliwicach, Lewar i jego ludzie dokonują skoku na bank. Dochodzi do strzelaniny, ktoś słyszy ksywę „Lewar”. Przyjeżdżają antyterroryści. Śmigłowcem przylatuje Sikora. AT pod dowództwem Sikory szturmuje bank. Sikora szuka Lewara, bo nie chce, żeby tajemnica Gazdy wyszła kiedykolwiek na jaw. Policjant zabija bandytę. Szybki zostaje zastrzelony w Zakopanem. Tego samego wieczoru, ktoś ostrzeliwuje dom Blachy. Na szczęście nikt nie zostaje ranny. Blacha pakuje Mirę i Kasię i wysyła je do matki Miry, do Łodzi. Sam postanawia ukryć się na jakiś czas w bezpiecznym miejscu. Gangster spotyka się z Sikorą i daje mu walizkę ze swoimi oszczędnościami- z milionem złotych. Prosi go, żeby w razie jego śmierci, Sikora przekazał pieniądze Mirze. Kowal i Rysiek świętują śmierć Szybkiego. Blacha wyjeżdża z Warszawy. Na stacji benzynowej zamaskowany napastnik ogłusza go i wciąga do furgonetki.
