Monica and Michele and Laura and Paolo are about to get married. The two couples, planning a romantic wedding for four, are taken by anxiety and agitation: Laura hopes that this second occasion, in the company of her best friend Monica, she will go better than her. Meanwhile, Cristina and Emanuele are going back to school.

The big day has arrived: Monica and Laura prepare for the wedding, unaware that their future husbands are still asleep. Laura's success spreads quickly thanks to a flattering article in a newspaper, but the girls in the editorial office aren't as enthusiastic about her friend's book. In fact, Maya, Rosa and Lea recognize themselves in the portraits of women that Laura has done in her book and have no intention of forgiving her friend for having been placed in the public square.
