  • Rainbow Brite - Beginning of Rainbowland (1) (Season 1 - Episode 1)

    A little girl named Wisp comes to a desolate dark land to save it. She is on a mission to find the ""sphere of light."" She ends up getting into a creepy forest. Running out of it she runs into a little creature known as Twink. They eventually team up to get away from the creepy monsters. While on their journey to find the ""sphere of light"" in the castle, they end up in the way of a contraption that makes people into ice statues. Twink gets half frozen and Wisp still drags him along. Lighting strikes the ground, making big lava that the duo run away from and burns off Twink's ice. After getting away they find a beautiful horse statue. A vulture attacks them and to Wisp's amazement, his heart is beating. The horse then comes to life and saves Wisp from the vulture. They fall down a cliff and they land on the horse's back. Another shock is that he can talk and that his name is Starlite. Meanwhile, Murky and Lurky are sent by the Evil One to stop Wisp. Starlite tells Wisp about a legend

    Rainbow Brite - Beginning of Rainbowland (2) (Season 1 - Episode 2)

    The Evil One threatens Murky and Lurky saying he wants the belt. Murky introduces his majesty to his new weapon, the Super Gloom Machine. Wisp begins her quest to find the Sphere of Light with her new color belt and the baby cradled on her back. The Color Belt starts glowing and revealing seven bubbles with talking images. They introduce themselves, the Color Kids keepers of the enchanted Star Sprinkles that the sprites mine in the color cave that helps the wearer of the belt make the world bright and full of color but the King of Shadows banished them to the seven corners of the belt and the belt wearer is the only one who can set them free. Wisp vows to save them. Gloom starts coming in the cave pumped by Murky and drives the trio running deeper in the cave. Starlite jumps off a cliff to another side and find another cave. They find the first color kid, Red Butler. Wisp must find the others but doesn't know where to start. The Color Belt shows a map where Canary Yellow is… in the pot

    Rainbow Brite - Peril in the Pits (Season 1 - Episode 3)

    Rainbow visits the world she must protect, the Earth. There she meets Brian, a boy who needs some friendly encouragement about him. Rainbow makes a ball out of star sprinkles and blows it making a rainbow. He accidentally walks through an actual rainbow and is suddenly all colors. He then meets Rainbow, Starlite and Twink. Rainbow tries to undo it but cannot. They take him to Rainbowland to fix him. There he meets everyone else. Murky and Lurky come along with another gloom machine. Rainbow stops his smoke. In the color cave, Murky kidnaps Canary Yellow, Indigo, Patty O' Green and Red Butler with his gloomy fog. Then Rainbow fixes Brain. The Sprites then tell them that Murky kidnapped the kids. Rainbow, Starlite, Twink and Brian go to the Pits to rescue the others. Unfortunately Rainbow's powers don't work in the Pits. Starlite can't fly and he is getting weaker. Murky is using the star sprinkles for evil. Starlite falls into quicksand. Rainbow tries to make a human chain to pull Starl

    Murky gets the aid of the genie-like Monstromurk who is trapped in a bottle. Brian comes for a visit to Rainbowland. Murky kidnaps Rainbow. They get the best of her and traps her in a bottle.

    Rainbow Brite - The Mighty Monstromurk Menace Part 2 (Season 1 - Episode 5)

    Red Butler and Brian go to save Rainbow. Murky throws the bottle with Rainbow in it away. Red Butler w/ Romeo and Brain w/ Twink go up the wild rapids. Rainbow magically pops out of the bottle. Then she meets up with Red's sprite Romeo and Starlite. Then they go up aganist the big evil Monstromurk. Brian tries to save Rainbow and gets hit. His colors become affected. They are able to defeat Monstromurk and stick him back in his bottle.

    Rainbow Brite - Invasion of Rainbowland (Season 1 - Episode 6)

    Wajah is a friendly alien who crashed his spaceship in Rainbowland one day. The color kids offered to fix his spaceship to take him back home. His species lives off Color the way the people live off food so whoever was near him, they would loose their colors. Wajah was captured by Murky and Lurky while he was stranded here, and he almost had to throw himself into the No Return River, but Shy Violet fixed his spaceship, modifying it to run on Star Sprinkles, so he could return home.

    Rainbow Brite - Mom (Season 1 - Episode 7)

    Murky Dismal's mother decides to pay Murky a visit. Murky is very busy with his newest invention. His mother reveals why Murky hates colors in the past. She reminisces about how one day she had been washing dishes and Murky was alone in the den. He loved colors so much that he started drawing and painting all over the walls! When she finally noticed what he was doing he had already made an incredible mess. She couldn't believe what she saw and got very angry. She started yelling at Murkwell and told him ""You're going to get rid of all those colors if it takes you the rest of your life!"" Rainbow leaves Rainbowland to do her routine. Murky invades Rainbowland, telling his mom he has a ""castle"", distracting her from his takeover. The Color Kids run away in fear of Murky and when asked by his mother why he replies that they work for him. And so the three enter the Color Castle and Murky shows his mother to her 'room' -which is really Rainbow Brite's room. So while Mrs. Dismal is admiring h

    Rainbow Brite - Rainbow Night (Season 1 - Episode 8)

    In this episode we learn of Moonglo and her job as beautifier of the night. She and her Sprite, Nite Sprite, have the responsibility of making the moon and stars shine brightly at night and make people happy even when they can't see bright colors. Moonglo and Nite Sprite have the power to turn invisible when they're working hard. Unfortunately Murky and Lurky don't enjoy the gorgeous nights. They prefer everything to be dark and gloomy. And they come up with a plan to capture Moonglo and take away her power so that the nights will never be beautiful again. Murky sprays Moonglo with his awful gloom cloud and are able to capture her. She turns invisible to try and trick him but he just sprays her with the cloud again. They didn't take Nite Sprite with them but he did get shot with the gloom cloud and it knocked him out. Later on that night Rainbow and the Color Kids begin to notice that the stars aren't coming out. They know something must be wrong because Moonglo would never let a night

    Rainbow Brite - Star Sprinkled (Season 1 - Episode 9)

    A conniving traveling salesman, Plock arrived to the Color Cave. He traded 'Magic Color Crystal Seeds"" to Twink in exchange for the Color Cave. It turned out to be a cave. He was selling tickets to enter the Color Cave. He tore up the contract though, when he realized that if Rainbowland didn't have the cave, the universe would become dark and gloomy. He travels the universe in a mechanical chariot of sorts.

    Rainbow Brite - Chasing Rainbows (Season 1 - Episode 10)

    Murky makes a robot that looks like Rainbow Brite that tricks the inhabitants of Rainbowland to take star sprinkles to the Pits. When Rainbow Brite finds out, she pretends she is the robot and tricks Murky.

    Rainbow Brite - Murky's Comet (Season 1 - Episode 11)

    They are having a parade in Rainbowland. The Color Kids strike a band while Rainbow and Stormy ride their horses. Rainbow goes to Earth to pick up Brian to ride in the parade as well. Sorrell the Sorcerer comes to Rainbowland. Sorrell crashed his spaceship in the pits, and gave Murky one choice if he could repair his spaceship. Murky wanted to destroy the color cave, and Sorrell made a comet. It almost hit Rainbowland, but Rainbow Brite came to save the day.

    Rainbow Brite - A Horse of a Different Color (Season 1 - Episode 12)

    We are introduced to a pink horse that lives in the mountains of Rainbow Land. The Sprites named Sunrise because she mostly comes out in the morning. Everyone prepares for the Sprite Fair an annual event with games and rides. There is a horse race that Starlite Skydancer and On-X always enter and naturally Starlite wins every year. Unfortunately this year there's a new entry. Murky and Lurky make their own robotic junk horse to enter the race with. No one recognizes Murky because he is in disguise but they are still suspicious. During the race Murky deploys a gloomy smoke from the robot's ears which knocks the audience and the riders out. Stormy and her horse Skydancer are the only not to be affected by the gloom cloud. She called down lightening to strike Murky and Lurky but she can't see through all the smoke to aim so she misses them. Meanwhile Murky and Lurky tie up Starlite and On-X onto the Grunge Buggy horse-napping them. When Rainbow wakes up Twink and Krys tell her about the m

    Rainbow Brite - The Queen of the Sprites (Season 1 - Episode 13)

    The evil Princess from the movie ""Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer"" comes to Rainbowland. She claims to be the 'Queen of the Sprites' and forces the sprites to dig up crystals in a new cavern of the Color Cave. These crystals she wnats to use as diamonds to revive her power. Murky and Lurky of course help. Count Blogg scares the sprites but telling them they will be turned into frogs. Meanwhile Rainbowland and Earth suffers from no more star sprinkles. The colors are fading. Princess' new power also is threatning. She can turn anything into diamonds. The turning into frogs thing turns out to be a trick. Count Blogg takes away a sprite and shows off a frog but in relaity, the sprite is tied up hidden away. (Longer summary coming soon)
