It's a night of partying for Jae Yeol. His midnight kiss is interrupted by an unexpected guest. Hae Soo is summoned into a talk show on short notice.
Jae Yeol returns Hae Soo a favor, even after she hurts him to save another patient. She injures her arm, but that doesn't stop her from doing her job.
Jae Yeol speaks to his brother Jae Beom. He also decides to kick out Hae Soo from his building. Maybe a kiss is enough to pay the price.
A night in Jae Yeol's flat leads to a closer relationship with Hae Soo. Jae Yeol could possibly be Hae Soo's therapist after a desensitizing kiss.
Jae Yeol texts Hae Soo that she made his heart flutter, but it only lasted for a moment. Hae Soo takes it differently, and their ship sails on.

Hae Soo finds out about Gang Woo and Jae Yeol's psychological problems. As she does her best to be there for him, Gang Woo slowly dies.
Jae Yeol receives a call from Gang Woo after a night with Hae Soo. Hearts are broken as this could be the last of Gang Woo with Hae Soo left helpless.
Hae Soo can't do anything for the one she finally sees as true love, while Jae Yeol is locked up for schizophrenia.
The couple's ship sails, but not in smooth waters as Hae Soo's mom and sister despise Jae Yeol's disorder.
