Team leader Rochers races to save the life of a DIY mechanic trapped under his car after a jack collapses. A waste disposal plant catches fire, spewing poisonous smoke into the air over a housing estate. A sunbathing teenager plunges off a 40ft cliff, and a dispute on a building site ends with a pick-axe embedded in the bonnet of a brand new Range Rover.
The HART medics race to respond to a major chemical leak which is endangering the lives of thousands of people. There’s a dramatic emergency at an abandoned school after a teenager falls 30ft down the chimney into an underground boiler room. In Leeds, an elderly motorist is run over by his own car and the HART medics fight to free his leg after it becomes trapped around the front wheel.
A man is shot outside a mosque and paramedics Manny and Tony lead the race to save his life. It’s bonfire night and police come under attack in the inner city and HART must brave fireworks and bricks to reach an injured cop.
