Overview: Anuj and Gauravi are two complete strangers, who hail from two completely different backgrounds, both economic and cultural. After his father's death, Anuj quits his studies to take care of his siblings and the family business. Years of hard work pays off, and he manages to build his own business empire. On the other hand, Gauravi grows up in a middle-class family, the one where education holds prime importance. An unexpected marriage arranged by both their families ties them together in a relationship under transactional situations. However, it doesn't take them long to fall in love with each other, when the rains decide to write their destiny.

Sudden downpour brings two drastically different individuals, Gauravi and Anuj together. Life is about to change for them.
Gauravi gets into serious trouble when her manager questions her about the missing necklace that she delivered at the fashion show.
Anuj rescues Gauravi when she loses her job. Later, she learns that Anuj is the owner of Mehta Diamonds.
Aniket refuses to tie the knot before Gauravi. Anuj’s mother has a solution to the problem.
Gauravi and Anuj meet to discuss their options. Gauravi concludes that they cannot marry as they have nothing in common.
Rishi insults Gauravi and her family at Mehta Diamonds’ annual Family Day party. Anuj reprimands Rishi for his insolence.
Anuj and Gauravi feel that they have made the right decision. But Rishi is not happy about Anuj’s choice.
At the Sangeet ceremony, Gauravi meets the woman Anuj once loved. Rishi swears to make life hell for Gauravi.
Gauravi weds Anuj and Shreya weds Aniket. Anuj and Gauravi spend awkward wedding night in their suite.
On Gauravi’s insistence, Anuj makes a presentation in English. He gets upset when he fails to impress his clients.
Gauravi promises Anuj she will not interfere in his matters. Anuj tells her everything about his relationship with Falguni.
Gauravi follows Anuj’s trail and is shocked to learn his secret.
Gauravi organizes a birthday party for Anuj. He feels grateful towards Gauravi for making him feel special.
Anuj meets with an accident on his way to Pune. Shreya leaves for Dubai after an argument with Aniket.
Gauravi and Anuj stand divided in the conflict between their siblings. Anuj supports Shreya and Gauravi stands by her brother, Aniket.
Gauravi disappoints Anuj when she tries to contact Shreya. Later, she thinks it is in their best interest if she leaves Anuj.
Asmi faces wardrobe malfunction as a show stopper. Anuj questions Rishi on his intentions.
Anuj addresses a press conference in English. His mother suffers a heart attack, and Gauravi keeps him in the dark about it.
Anuj and Gauravi meet at their favourite place to discuss the future of their relationship. Mehta’s restaurant catches fire and police come to arrest Anuj.
Gauravi takes all the blame to save Anuj. Rishi and Shreya flee the country.
