Overview: Anuj and Gauravi are two complete strangers, who hail from two completely different backgrounds, both economic and cultural. After his father's death, Anuj quits his studies to take care of his siblings and the family business. Years of hard work pays off, and he manages to build his own business empire. On the other hand, Gauravi grows up in a middle-class family, the one where education holds prime importance. An unexpected marriage arranged by both their families ties them together in a relationship under transactional situations. However, it doesn't take them long to fall in love with each other, when the rains decide to write their destiny.

Anuj plans for Gauravi’s surprise birthday celebration but misses it. Aniket warns Shreya to stay away from Rohit.
Manit’s surprise birthday celebration for Gauravi does not go down well with Anuj. Anuj behaves disrespectfully with Manit at an event.
Asmi and Rohit plan to get married, but Shreya keeps intruding their relationship. Aniket asks Shreya to stop hassling Rohit and Asmi. Anuj threatens Aniket over Shreya.
Asmi and Rohit’s wedding day has arrived. There is a clear discomfort between Anuj and Aniket. At the wedding, Shreya attempts suicide.
Manit’s presence at the wedding triggers Anuj to leave the wedding. Anuj’s insecurity leads Anuj to accuse Gauravi of an affair.
Aniket visits Anuj, to apologize, he realizes that Gauravi is not home. Gauravi moves back to her parents’ house.
Rohit and Asmi are surprised to know that Shreya has thrown them a party at their getaway. Shreya takes advantage of a drunk Rohit.
Asmi and Rohit patch up, but there are still unresolved differences between Anuj and Gauravi. Manit and Gauravi expose an important truth about Rakesh, Anuj’s partner.
Anuj gets arrested in the raid, instead of Rakesh. On Falguni’s advice, Gauravi is slapped with a divorce by Anuj.
Gauravi signs the divorce papers, both are advised counselling for six months. Rakesh gets arrested based on a tip provided by Anuj.
Anuj realizes his mistake and wishes to atone for. He also learns about Shreya’s drug addiction. After a long time, Gauravi expresses her feelings to Anuj.
Anuj rebuffs to fall prey to Rishi’s maneuver. Gauravi joins a new workplace but is dismayed by the fact that she will be working with Anuj.
Shreya is left with nothing, as Rishi holds the legal right to everything she owns. Shreya approaches Anuj for help, he devises a plan. Shreya apologizes to Aniket.
Gauravi questions Anuj based on a piece of news. At Manit’s engagement party, she learns the truth. Do Anuj and Gauravi give their love another chance?
