  • I Have a Script - Episode 1 (Season 1 - Episode 1)

    Asmaa remembers when she used to take care of her young siblings, and when their uncle made their father tell them that their mother died. Asmaa returns to the present where she is celebrating Eid with her family. Her sister-in-law invites her over but Mansour gets upset from his sister’s presence.

    As Asmaa and her siblings gather for Eid celebrations, they quarrel with her and their youngest brother, Khaled, and they kick them out. She tells Khaled that she's not mad at them despite taking care of them throughout her life. At home, she finds her neighbor Nour’s car making lots of noise.

    Asmaa takes her friend, Nour to find the house of her favorite actress, Mona, to show her the script she wrote. They could not find it and the police arrests them and takes them to the station. Khalid clashes with his mother because of her reaction after he spoke about marriage with his aunt.

    Actress, Samia, have pressed charges against Nour, but she drops them at the station. Nour's brother angrily takes her back home. Asmaa tries to approach Samia to show her the script she wrote. Asmaa calls Khaled to pick her up from the police station, and his mother scolds him for getting involved.

    Asmaa asks Nour's siblings to take Nour home so she could take care of her, but she was gone. She looks for her and brings her home. Khaled tells Asmaa that there is a person who wants to read her scripts. Hala argues with her husband about going back to work after giving birth.

    Hala asks her neighbor, Asmaa, to babysit her kids until she returns from work. Asmaa’s brother takes her to meet the producer who will read her work, so she asks Nour to take care of Hala’s kids. Nour takes them to the amusement park. When Hala returns, and does not find her children, she panics.

    When Nour returns home with Hala’s kids, they have a big fight. Hala's and her husband, Mamdouh, are quarreling because he believes she is neglecting her kids. Asmaa’s siblings realize that she was at the police station, so they disapprove of Nour’s staying with her. Nour decides to leave the place.

    Asmaa's siblings ask her let Nour go stay with her brother, Salah,but he refuses the idea, knowing his wife, Na'eema, would object. Hala visits Asmaa and Nour to spend time with them, and the ladies make amends. Asmaa returns to work as a librarian.

    Salah argues with Na'eema when he returns home to find her hosting some people in their house. He asks her to quit this job. As Hala and Asmaa return home, Hala finds a woman at her home and suspects Mamdouh's infidelity, but it turns out to be her brother's wife.

    Hala's sister-in-law tries to convince her that they could all live together at her home. Mamdouh rejects the idea. Nour's sister is arguing with her at Asmaa's home about rejecting Mish'al's proposal. A director's feedback about Asmaa's script is that it can only be a radio, and not TV, script.

    Nour is upset by her sister, Bashayer's behavior and asks Asmaa if she wants her to leave her home, but Asmaa asks her to stay. Na'eema is fighting with Salah and berates him for being infertile. Later, she calls on Mish'al and his mother to reconcile between them.

    Khaled refuses to travel to London with his mother and leave his country. Hala takes her sister-in-law, Nermine, to her work place as she got her old job back. Asmaa meets a renowned author and manages to show him her script. Aly quits his job and decides to start his own law office.

    Asmaa accompanies Nour to meet a director about her screenplay. A producer offers to use her script in a radio series, but she declines and meets Khaled's mother on the way out, as she was looking for him to blame him for refusing to travel to London. Asmaa's brother is taken to the hospital.

    After Asmaa and Nour left the studio, the director approached Khaled about his mother's non-Kuwaiti origins. His mother is preparing herself to travel. Mish'al is brawling with his brother about his son whom he believes is cowardly. A producer asks Nour to be in one of his commercials.

    Asmaa is on a picnic with her friends Nour and Hala along with producer, Salem, who seems to be attracted to her. She learns of her brother's illness and on her hospital visit she gets poorly treated by him and Salah. Her ill brother's wife tries to calm them down and apologizes to Asmaa.

    After Asmaa arrives to the studio where she will be meeting producer, Zeidan, she meets director Samia whom she had previously met at the police station. After a long wait, the producer sends an apology and she regretfully returns home. Khaled asks to meet Samia and they get along as friends.

    Hala's brother is trying to alleviate the stresses that she faces with her husband daily, and finally moves into his new home. Director Samia agrees with Asmaa to file a lawsuit against a person who published photos of them on social media. Asmaa hires her nephew to be the attorney for their case.

    Asmaa accompanies Aly and Mish'al to the studio where they meet Samia. Two of Asmaa's brothers find out about her work with producer Zeidan and Mish'al tells her that his uncle Salah asked him and Aly to help her. Asmaa asks them to meet their uncle Khaled, who gets upset by their attitude.

    Asmaa tries to calm Khaled down after their nephews leave, and emphasizes that he should be proud of his mother in spite of her earlier housekeeping job. Nour is visited by a friend and they go out. While driving her car, Nour accidentally runs over a child and escapes.

    Asmaa starts the lawsuit procedures that she had agreed to with Samia. Aly takes a liking to Samia. Aly's wife tells Na'eema of her pregnancy which Aly rejects once again, and Nour appears melancholic after hitting a child with her car.

    Producer, Zeidan, agrees to produce Asmaa's script only after making adjustments to it. Nour goes the hospital to check on the boy whom she had hit with her car. Aly asks his brother, Mish'al, to stay away from him and his family. Asmaa's dream to have her TV script produced is finally coming true.

    Asmaa disputes the change in her script with the producer. A gynecologist advises Aly's wife to abort her pregnancy due to fetal malformation. Asmaa meets her stepmother who now owns a big fashion house and learns that she was a house maid who got pregnant by Asmaa's father who then married her.

    Nour is worried and looks for Asmaa after her long absence in which she was with Khaled's mother, her stepmother. Asmaa does not believe her story about her life with her father and her suffering with him. Khaled tells his mother about his desire to marry his colleague.

    Producer Dawood asks Salah and his brother to work with him. Samia's ex-husband is forcing their daughter into marriage. She files a lawsuit against him. Asmaa receives her retirement decision. Na'eema husband, Salah, is travelling without her. Khaled asks Asmaa to be his partner in his perfume shop.

    Nour tells Na'eema that she married her son, Mish'al, for 2 days before discovering his illness. Khaled and his mother meet his uncle at the airport. Nour convinces Asmaa to announce her retirement on social media. Nour argues with Samia in the studio and Asmaa reconciles between them.

    Hala returns to Kuwait and convinces Asmaa to go out and enjoy her life with Nour. Samia finishes shooting the last scenes of Asmaa's TV series. Aly took Samia's advice and subscribed at the gym, and Khaled introduces his mother to his fiancée, director Layla.

    Mansour asks Asmaa to sell her script to producer, Dawood, but she rejects. Khaled visits Mansour with his mother to handle their land distribution procedures, but he ends up fighting with Aly and Mansour who ask him to leave the house. Khaled weds director Layla.

    While Mish’al leaves to work, his father falls ill, and is rushed to the hospital; he has renal failure. Asmaa decides to give him her kidney, but he refuses and kicks her out. Samia is sad for not attending her daughter’s wedding.

    Khaled marries Jumana and discovers her problem with Nour and the child whom she had previously run over in a car accident. Nour is admitted to a psychiatric hospital and Hala returns to Egypt.
